Complete Two-Tone Gold and Silver Refinishing

This beautiful Gorham monstrance arrived in our shop heavily tarnished and in need of significant repair. The piece was first completely disassembled. Our skilled artisans then straightened the cross, repaired several broken rays and replaced all the missing decorative tips. After the structural repairs, the entire monstrance was stripped and hand-polished. To achieve the stunning two-tone effect, specific components were electroplated in 24 karat gold while the rays were plated in brilliant sterling silver, restoring this sacred vessel to a condition worthy of adoration.
