Dalmatic, with small dalmatic stole.
Machine embroidered with gold and silver threads on a handwoven band in Seta fabric, applied to both the front and the back. The band is woven with natural knots and richly embroidered with gold and silver threads, with matching embroidery on the sleeves.
The handwoven band contains natural, randomly woven knots. These are not considered flaws but enhance the rustic beauty of this fabric.
Matching vestments and coordinated vestments
The dalmatic is derived from the design of the chasuble 3850, which was worn by Pope Benedict XVI during his visit to Brazil in May 2007.
We had the honour of co-designing this vestment.
