Chasuble designed for the celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima.
The lines in this design form concentric circles symbolising the community gathered around Mary in the Sanctuary square: individuals united in prayer. This community is made up of men and women from all over the world. The white fabric evokes the radiant light associated with the apparitions of Our Lady. The gold-, silver-, and old gold-coloured threads used in the embroidery reflect the ornamentation of Our Lady’s garments.
