The Holy Father proclaimed a special “Year of Priesthood” on June 19, 2009.
We designed a series of vestments around the theme of “The Seven Sacraments”, administered exclusively by priests.
Chasuble, made of beige Dupion fabric, with dupion yarn (button yarn); width 59" = 150 cm, length 53" = 135 cm, with inside stole, with plain neckline “0”.
“The Seven Sacraments”
- Baptism: baptismal shell with water.
- Confirmation: anointing hand with chrism oil.
- Priestly ordination: Bible (teaching) and Host (Eucharist).
- Confession: priest’s stole with hand (sign of forgiveness).
- Eucharist: chalice with host, breaking of bread.
- Marriage: two hands with rings.
- Anointing of the Sick: blessing hand with cross of anointing.
