This is a previously used Chalice & Paten with case. The Chalice is 8" tall and made out of sterling silver with a diamond in the base cross. The node, cup and base has engraved Latin text. This stem features Madonna & Child on one side with Christ on the other. There are two shields that feature alpha and omega. The sterling Paten is 5 1/2" in diameter. A used black hard case and protective covers will be included in the sale. It is in overall good condition.
The Latin quote says: In Principio Erat (Base) Hominum Vita Erat (Cup) Erat In Ipso (Node)
In English this quote says: In the beginning was the word, human life was the light, there was life in him.
