On December 8, 2020, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Pope Francis presented a new apostolic letter entitled: Patris corde (With the heart of a father).
In it, he recommends Saint Joseph as a special role model for Catholics and as a guide in these troubled times. At the same time, a whole year, until December 8, 2021, will be dedicated to him. The Pope praises the saint, like so many silent and unknown heroes in this corona pandemic, as a role model of creative courage and modesty, obedience, tenderness and responsibility.
