Christ the King handembroidered chasuble

Chasuble in Moiré fabric, 100% viscose. Unique hand embroidery of "Christ the King". Width 55½" = 141 cm, length 48½" = 123 cm, with inside stole. Plain neckline "0" embroidered.

During WWII, some extraordinary embroideries were made, just to keep the embroiderers employed. This chasuble is an exact replica of such a masterpiece. The original is still kept in our workshops in Bruges. A true testimony to the rich tradition of craftsmanship in Flanders. We have also made a more simplified replica: ref. 5030.
