Exceptionally beautiful embroideries were made during WWII. In this way the embroiderers could continue to work at Slabbinck. Chasuble 3870 is a reissue of such a masterpiece, still owned by the Slabbinck family. It is a reflection of a great tradition of hand embroidery and textile making in Flanders.
